Officers

Officers

The officers are team members who want to take an active role in the direction of GAS/Intrinsik cycling. Officers must be self-motivated and passionate about the team, but don't necessarily need to be active racers. The officers include the folks who plan races, secure sponsorship, design the jerseys, run the website, and coordinate community events. Read More

Race Team

Race Team

The Race Team is the heart and soul of GAS/Intrinsik. These are the guys and gals traveling across Montana (and beyond) each season and flying the GAS/Intrinsik colors at all types of competitive cycling events. Read More

Community Team

Community Team

The community team includes anyone who buys a GAS/Intrinsik jersey and wears it proudly. Community team members may race a few times a year, maybe just at the Tuesday-nighters, or maybe don't race at all and just love to get out and ride. Read More

Target Races

Target Races

New this year, the team will put funds aside to cover entry fees for select races at both the state and regional levels. The idea is to get a strong GAS/Intrinsik turnout across multiple categories, achieve good results, and obtain quality exposure for the team and it's sponsors. The list below is tentative and subject to review based on suggestions and available funds. Read More

The G.A.S. (Gallatin Alpine Sports)/ INTRINSIK Architecture Cycling Team

was established in the fall of 2004 by a group of enthusiastic cyclists from the Gallatin Valley Bicycle Club who wished to establish a community based competitive cycling team in Bozeman, Montana.
The team is open to men, women, and juniors of all ages and abilities who participate in road, mountain, cyclocross, ultra-endurance, and triathlon/duathlon events.

The team has been, and strives to continue to be successful both in the racing world and in the community.

Our Mission

1. To create an environment and team structure that allows motivated individuals to improve and be competitive at the state and regional levels. The hope is to grow from the current small group of dedicated racers to an organization that can:

  • foster young talent
  • support competitive cyclists
  • allow masters to continue to evolve and be competitive

2. To project a positive image of all cycling, whether it is competitive, recreational, or functional by active involvement in the community through cycling related events and non-cycling goodwill endeavors by team members.
