The GAS/Intrinsik women's road ride series will resume on Monday, May 17! Meet at 6 PM at the Bozeman Public Library.

We’re excited to be offering the Monday night women’s rides again this year. These rides are geared toward women road riders who are interested in improving their riding skills.  The rides are aimed at riders who can comfortably complete a 15-20 mile ride and who can capably shift gears, negotiate traffic and various road surfaces, and manage some climbing and descending. Most importantly, these rides are for you if you want to learn more, push yourself and improve your riding, all in the company of other women. The pace of the rides will depend on the individual topic and type of ride.

Throughout the season there will be rides with a variety of topics and distances. We aim to help women gain confidence and experience while learning new skills. Some rides will consist of drills and coaching, while others will just be rides in the fine company of other women.

Topics will include:

•   Group riding skills
•   Pacelines
•   Climbing and descending
•   Pedaling technique
•   Cornering
•   Sprinting
•   Time trial skills (geared toward participating in the Tuesday night time trials)

 We’ll kick off this season’s ride series with an easy ride to Triple Tree. The ride will be around 16 miles and we promise we won’t drop anyone and leave you stranded! Meet at the library, ready to ride at 6 pm.
